What deposits are required?
There is no security deposit required upfront and upon approval can be $0 up to a full month’s rent.
Is renter’s insurance required?
Yes, renter’s insurance is required, in the amount of $100,000. Typically, that runs about $20 per month. You CAN bundle with your existing insurance company!
How do I pay my rent?
Online, at greyeagleapts.com.
Are any utilities included in rent?
No utilities are included in your rent amount, but all your utilities are paid with your rent. The only thing you have to set up separately is your electric, gas and cable account!
What utilities am I responsible for?
Power & Cable/Internet (if you choose to have it), Electric and Gas
Who is my cable/ internet provider?
What if I need maintenance?
Just give us a call! You can call the office during normal business hours or put in a help ticket on the portal on our website. We have after hours maintenance service available for you.
Is parking first come first serve or do we pay for a permit/spot?
It is first come, first serve. We ask that our residents have their guest park a little farther away, so all our residents have 1st priority to the closer spots.
Is the community pet friendly?
Very! Your whole management team has pets, and we LOVE to love on yours as well!! We do have some restricted breeds, so just check with us before you apply. Once you do, you will also do a pet screening application for each pet in your household.
What is the pet policy?
We allow most pets with the exception of dog breeds that are considered generally aggressive and must be accepted through the pet screening application for each pet in your household.

Can I sublet my apartment?
Can I use financial aid to help pay my rent?
Yes, any form of income is considered (financial aid, child support, alimony, disability, retirement, etc. Anything that is verifiable)
Are your apartments furnished?
Can visitors use the amenities?
Yes! They must always be accompanied by a leaseholder.
How do I access my apartment if I lose my key?
If it is during normal business hours, we can provide you with a spare. You will need to leave your DL until you bring our key back. We do not provide after-hours lockout service.
Once I move in, how do I pay my rent and when is it due?
You can pay your rent online at greyeagleapts.com. Rent is ALWAYS due on the 1st. A late fee is added on the morning of the 6th if the full balance isn’t paid by then.
Can I paint walls in my apartment? Can I hang things on the walls like a TV or artwork?
Of course! We want you to make your home, your own! All we ask is that when you get ready to move out, the walls are painted back, and any large anchor holes are patched.
If I need to move out, how do I give notice? When do I have to give notice?
When you decide its time to move, you will need to provide a 60-day written notice. An email to one of our team members will suffice, but we also have a form you can come in and sign as well.
Are there termination fees if I need to leave suddenly?
If you need to break your lease, you will need to provide a 60-day written notice and provide a fee of 1 month’s rent as a termination fee. Any concessions you received must also be paid back.
Who will be able to get into my apartment and for what reasons? How much notice will I be provided?
Maintenance will have access to your apartment, but only when you request service. The only time we would make entry into your apartment without at least 24-hour notice is if there is an emergency either in or around your apartment. For example, if your downstairs neighbor is flooding, we may need to enter your apartment to make sure you don’t have any leaks.
How is trash collected? What about recycle? How do I get rid of a large piece of furniture?
Valet Trash is included in your monthly rent. They will pick up Sunday through Thursday’s starting around 7pm. They will only pick up trash that is in the trash can we provide you in your apartment and will only pick up bagged trash inside the trash can. No boxes. If you have more trash that you would like to dispose of we have 4 dumpsters around the property for your convenience. Three around Building 500, 600 & 700 and 1 around Building 400. Please do not place your trash outside in the breezeways for any length of time. We do not offer recycling services at this time. Large furniture must be taken off site to be disposed of. The closest dump/recycling is on 1425 S. Batesville Road, Greer SC 29651 # 864.735.8242 (about 5 miles from here) The closest recycling drop off is on Hudson Road about a mile from the property.
What things do I need to maintain in the apartment? Do you supply AC filters, refrigerator filters, light bulbs?
We supply AC filters during your entire lease. We also will supply light bulbs for the 1st 30 days of your lease, but after that, you are responsible for buying normal bulbs. We will always provide the fluorescent bulbs in the kitchens, laundry rooms, and the bulbs in the dining rooms.
Can I bring my own washer and dryer?
Yes! All our apartments have full size hookups for washers and dryers. If you don’t have your own, no worries! We have a laundry facility here on site!
